Micro-poetry: Brightly Coloured Whale Song

I’m lost adrift in the sloe,
alone and so small

Puncturing the sedate sea
A noble whale emitting a neon glow

Its red & blue light trails behind;
I can taste the stars that it has devoured.

Mercury weeps as the beast heads into the electric sky
Laying galaxies as it goes
